This was a fun fan project for the game ULTRAKILL.

Since the game is in the style of old Playstation 1 titles I went with an arcade themed screen that resembles a Title screen or Game Over screen.

The only way to heal in the game is by literally showering in the blood of your enemies so we had to make blood the focus. I decided to make the whole thing loop by using the Mr Mercury Effect to cover the screen in red without having to let every frame be hand drawn.
